Cnl Delta’s New Website!

My Online Gaming History

X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter

Played it for a day in the late 20th century. Gamed against one of the top 10 pilots in that month (damn he was good but my trusty old Microsoft Sidewinder pro sure came in handy). Got myself in the rank 100 in under an hour. Was not known as omega strike at that time.

Unreal Tourmanent 2000 (Late 2001 to Late 2004)

Gamed with 8-12 college mates leading to formation of the nick name of Omega Strike (Insta Gibbage for the win!) in Winter 2001 and then Lt_Omega (formed during the Unreal Tournament 2003 demo days.)

The best games I ever played in Unreal Tournament 2000 and the follow up Unreal Tournament 2003 were the ones when I didn’t have to drive for over an hour before the game (going on the bus and then gaming left me a lot more energy for gaming than driving and then gaming.) Shiftin to another city didn’t help there (more driving.)

Nonetheless despite the above mentioned handicapped, I formed nicks of Colonel_Omega and Major_Damage (Damage was the precursor to my nickname Delta which sounds nicer than death, destruction and damage which to me; Delta stands for all 3) after the release of Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo . I dropped the nickname of Colonel_Omega for Lt_Omega when I decided to move into the global online arena of gaming.

Ground Control 2 (Summer 2004 to this day)

Got the game for my birthday on May 2004 and was about to return the game to the store due to the incredibly boring single player game when i decided to go online as Lt_Omega and was glad i decided to give it an online go before the return. Got invited to join the [RI] within 2 weeks as Lt_Omega. Within the first month of gaming I joined forces with Karmashock (who unknown to me was a part of [TLSC]) and company and pretty much kept owning or having loads of patch 7 fun for most of the games.

The release of Patch 8 in September 2004 led to the departure of many of the games finest players and I went on a 2 month hiatus (Hey Gitex 2004 is no cake walk). Rejoined the game 2 months later, formed an alliance with the Storm threaders.

Met Destroyer, X-Com, God Arayes and many more seasoned patch 8 players. Well Destroyer (known known as ) was a newbie but together we took down a rank 1 drop in player (who in his defense had a noob team mate) and Destroyer later rose to rank 1.

Joined [TLSC] and was a part of the patch 8 Ground Control 2 [TLSC] tag holders before Guild Wars started to eat up my gaming time.

Unreal Tournament 2004 (Late 2004 till Late 2005)
Owned in the Demo with Commander Bry.
Was a short term member of TLSC Unreal Tournament Division.

Second Life (Just one day in 2005)
Does 2 hours count? I don’t even recall what my in game name is.

Navyfield (Spring 2005)

Joined Tank0 and Mistress Crystal of [TLSC]

GuildWars (Summer 2005 to this day)

Now that game took a lot of time. Got it around May 2005 and there’s been no looking back since.
came in to join [TLSC] along with Juggalo and Fragman but left due to time issues.
joined [CTS] of Chirs Darclaim (who left GW to join World of Warcraft) which was when Ground Control 2 gave way to Guild Wars as my main online game.

Left [CTS] as Captain_Omega and went on hiatus from Guild Wars for a while During my hiatus I played the Battelfied 2 Demo and got back into Ground Control 2 reforming my online presence as Major_Delta. (sounded nicer than Major_Damage/Destruction/Death)

I Formed [AST] in preparation for Guild Wars Factions. http://ast.phpbb3.net which led to the nickname of Cnl_Delta. Hey a Major may be able lead wins in Ground Control 2 and co-lead a win at the Hall of Heroes with Gargamel of Oz as the HoH team leader in Guild Wars but it takes a Colonel to run a guild.

AST grew into a guild that absorbed many smaller guilds and once our AB skills started to shine (Myself, Pink Prince Amz, Rick and Pie Master) we started to grow into an Alliance of multiple guilds (game only allowed 10 guilds in an alliance :\ )

AST Alliance Officers were in order of joining are:
Athene of Olympus
Josefin Juva
Pie Master
Pink Prince Amz
Psylark the Ranger (leader of Knights Of Silverpeak Guild)
Chuck Liang

More officers and members in the AST Alliance can be found listed at http://ast.phpbb3.net

The AST Alliance grew to have 555K of faction (large contribution from The Seventh Guild) within 6 weeks of the first Alliance Battle of the AST Guild but unfortunately the rapid growth did not leave much time to establish the much needed foundations for long term retention of members and overall stability. (Plus my dumb ass college decided to cancel my visa so the time I could have spent saving and rebirthing the Alliance was spent preparing for me to shift country :\)

6 months after the dissolution of AST Alliance I joined [TBD] and owned outposts as a regular member for a couple of months.

I left [TBD] which was on its way to holding Cavalon, a capital city in Guild Wars, to form an indo pak guild which lasted 10 days due to lack of indo-pak players.

Battle Field 2 (Late 2006 till Early 2007)

I may be a frigging Sergent as Cnl_Delta but I’m the deadliest bombing co-pilot/weapons specialist in Batlefield 2 that most of you would ever meet.
